So on Monday we found this cat on my deck which is pretty strange because I live next to two other people and none of them have cats. So, I was surprised to see a kitten (which on a side note looks JUST like my cat Emma). Well this evening I thought it would be best to catch it, and so I did just that. I then put it in a cat carrier and proceeded to call our vet. Now I was instructed on everything I needed to do, and most importantly to keep it away from my cat (because of the diseases it may have). Then the lady says there is no appointments until next saturday…and then I call three more places and they all say the same thing. Then THANK GOD this one woman said to go to Petco because they have clinics on the weekends. So I call my local Petco and ask the girl who answered if there was a clinic on Saturday, which she said no to (and I cried a little) and then she frantically shouted to me there was one on Sunday! So this girl and woman SAVED my butt from having to set the kitten back outside. So tonight where I live in NY it is windy, only 60 degrees and it’s supposed to rain and storm the whole night through and my mom wanted me to put it OUTSIDE!!! Well me being me I disregarded what she said and found this nice spacious container to put the kitten in. Oh and I have a name for my kitten and that is Phoebe!!! and it is named after the character in FRIENDS buuuuttt the name which means brilliant and illuminated fits the personality of the kitten SO much.
So I am so happy this cat wherever it came from or to that asshole of a person to dump the kitten, thanks. I’m seriously getting this vibe that I was meant to find this kitten and give her a home. She might not be the sharpest tool in the shed but she is the cuddliest, friendliest, purr-iest kitten EVER!!!!! (but now she needs to learn about the purpose of a litter box…wish me luck!)
